Key Piece Interior Design is a unique Interior Architectural & Design practice. With almost 50 years of combined experience & knowledge, we are very grateful to have a huge referral base of amazing clients who have become, over the years, like family to us.
We design every project as bespoke & original, staying away from ‘cookie cutter’ & ‘on trend’ processes used by other design companies. What sets us apart from others is that we never work in our own taste, instead guiding our clients to fulfilling the best version of theirs.
Our full focus is on our client, intuiting their needs through a concise & lengthy briefing session, understanding & honouring all of their idiosyncrasies. With our extensive experience, the ability to listen deeply & using keen intuition, we rarely need to make amendments to projects after we present them, as we never finish our first briefing session until we feel extremely confident moving forward to the design stage.
We will advocate for our client from the earliest conception stage, throughout the entire building process, to completion. We will be present & transparent, always ensuring the highest quality design documentation & workmanship undertaken by our carefully selected tradesmen, liaising whenever necessary. Our aim is to make the whole process streamlined & most importantly- FUN!
"Both Jo-Anne & Emma from Key Piece Interior Design were excellent to deal with on my project in Elwood. They understood and listened to my brief to help bring my renovation to life. All the fixtures and fittings they chose were meticulously thought out, high-end finishes at a reasonable price."

"It's so rare to find people that genuinely care about what they do and want to see a property realise it's full potential, and that's exactly how I felt at every step of this project, from design to completion. Needless to say, I'd recommend selecting Key Piece for your next renovation project!”

"The team at Key Piece did a fantastic job on our 2 bedroom apartment renovation. The transformations have been nothing short of amazing! We are extremely happy with the final outcome. Jo-Anne and Emma worked closely with us throughout the project, they even decorated our place and helped us in selecting the right artworks for our apartment afterwards. Their in-depth experience meant we were in safe hands. Their eye for detail & knowledge of where to spend money was spot on. We would highly recommend Key Piece."

"Jo-Anne designed a kitchen, bathroom and laundry renovation for me some years ago and when it came time to renovate again, I knew she was the person to turn to. Jo-Anne is full of ideas and was quick to understand my needs and create a vision that will better enhance our lifestyle. Not only has Jo-Anne developed an exciting design that matches the character of my 1920’s home but she has done so without sacrificing the practicalities such as storage and flow."
