You will see from our ‘before’ photos that these Glen Iris clients had just down-sized in space. This meant they had a lot of possessions and no-where to store them. The whole townhouse looked messy as a result. The kitchen also completely cut off the centre of the main living area. This made it like cooking in a ‘pinball machine’ with more than one person. We lightened up all of the finishes, redesigned the kitchen to have 2 x ‘escape routes’ and helped to furnish the space so that the new furniture was more incongruous with the layout & colour scheme.
